PROJECT UPDATE: Tampa Neighborhoods Design Build Project – Macfarlane Park

Sunday March 19th: 1 Night Detour of Columbus Between Habana Ave & Armenia Ave

  • Columbus Ave closed at Habana. Follow detour
  • Columbus Detour Route – N Macdill – W Tampa Bay Blvd – N Armenia
  • Columbus Detour Route – N Howard – W Tampa Bay Blvd – N Macdill Ave

 

Monday March 20th: Single right lane closure along Columbus Ave between Habana Ave and Armenia Ave

  • North Tampania Ave closed at W Kathleen and W St. Joseph St to Thru Traffic

From June 23 – July 31, 2022, crews will be conducting utility construction for the Foundation for Tampa’s Neighborhoods project. The southbound lane will be impacted, from 9am to 4pm. Barricades and signs will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow.

 

Streets impacted will be MacDill Avenue between Tampa Bay Boulevard and Leroy Street.

Beginning Feb. 7, crews will begin routine maintenance and inspections on sanitary sewer laterals. Weather permitting, this activity is anticipated to be completed on Feb. 14.

 

Traffic is expected to be disrupted; mobile truck parked for short durations (approx. 1 hour) to video existing lines. Partial or full lane closure will be required with flaggers on through streets. Streets impacted will be Lincoln Ave, Matanzas Ave, MacDill Ave, Armenia Ave, and Columbus Dr.
