Forest Hills

The City of Tampa’s Foundation for Tampa’s Neighborhoods Design Build project includes water, wastewater, stormwater improvements in multiple neighborhoods within the city’s limits as part of the Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow initiative. These improvements may cause temporary inconveniences while construction activities are being performed. The city and their contractor are committed to minimizing these impacts and providing citizens with sustainable solutions that will enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Improvements planned for Forest Hills

  • Water improvements will include the replacement of water distribution pipelines.
  • Stormwater infrastructure improvements along W Rambla and W Pradera Ave will include the addition of stormwater piping to help reduce street flooding.

Design & Construction Schedule

  • Design: Fall 2020 – Winter 2022
  • Construction: Spring 2022 – Summer 2026

Timeline

  • Major work is complete, Minor work is still ongoing through Fall 23
