Lamb Canal

Overview

The Lamb Canal Avenue project is part of “Foundation for Tampa’s Neighborhoods”, a multi-benefit endeavor to improve water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation in several neighborhoods within Tampa. It is also powered by Mayor Castor’s Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow initiative.

How to stay involved

The City has received several inquiries about this project, and your input is important. Please continue to provide comments or questions through the project website, www.tampa-neighborhoods.com, or the project hotline at 813-324-1251.

Project details and status

The project includes reconstructing Lamb Canal to improve water quality and provide flood relief. These improvements will also enhance resiliency from major (or minor) storm events. As of early 2022, the City has paused the project in order to evaluate these comments. We will provide updates once revised options have been developed.
